Philip and Erin

What better way to start a new blog than to show the wedding of a dear friend! Everything about Philip and Erin’s wedding was calmly beautiful. I say calmly, because that was how the day felt. Rather than being rushed, stressful, and consumed by the technical details of a wedding, Philip and Erin’s day was one of joy, beauty, and a celebration of marriage.

*Special thanks to Liz Essley for being the second photographer!

    Hannah!

    2 things:
First, I am BEYOND delighted that you have a new blog! I was secretly despondent at the end of your time in Paris.
Secondly, You did a phenomenal job on these wedding photos. Absolutely gorgeous.

Stunning, Hannah! I especially love the first close-up of Erin. I have never seen her smile so beautifully! The blue door photos turned out very well, too. You have such a talented eye!

  4. Gorgeous, gorgeous, Hannah. They perfectly capture the weekend, its laughter and colors, and the wonderful joy that it was (and is) to see Erin and Philip married.

I’m glad you’re blogging. Keep at it.

Thank you for having a satin covered hanger. Plastic hangers in wedding pictures is a pet peeve. But when are you not attentive to details?

  9. Cara Valle says:

These pictures are so lovely! Hannah, you did an amazing job, but you were definitely helped by having gorgeous subjects!

  10. Susannah says:

you. frikin. rock. these are AWESOME!

  11. Hannah, these are so good, and make me wish all the more that we could have made it to the wedding! Boo.

Anyway, your photographs are just as beautiful as (and in many cases better than) the “professional wedding photographers” I have seen. And after planning my own wedding, I have seen a lot. :P
